So... Dan & I are thinking about/looking into becoming foster parents. No final answer yet, but we have our first interview with a social worker tomorrow. Ella really wants to have a sister close to her age and we'd love to have more laughter (and yes, we realize screaming & fighting will come too!) in our home. Anyway, that's what we're thinking. We have no idea if it's right for our family but we figure the only way to find out is to investigate.

Sarah's Key. It was lame. The first 2/3rd of the book was so promising but the last 1/3rd was awful--avoid, avoid!
On a much happier literary note, our family just finished reading
Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
What a fun read! Now we're on to
Little House on Prairie. I hope we finish them all this summer. Last summer we read all the Ramona books. Those were a riot; that Ramona is hilarious!
