Well it was another rainy year at SummerFest but we didn't let that dampen (lol) the fun. Ella is convinced that SummerFest is the summer's equivalent to winter's beloved Christmas. She woke up at 6:00 AM in anticipation; we sent her back to bed. Aren't we nice parents?
It was a great time. We even tried some deep-fried Oreos this year. Wow. They are delicious but evil.
Hope summer shows up sometime soon... It would be nice to be able to go swimming before the season's over!

Ella got to see the workers setting up the strawberry ride a couple of days before the grand day (yes, we drove by almost everyday due to popular request!) and then insisted on giving it a spin.
This year we invited friend, Kailye, to join the fun.
Can you see the storm clouds? It was pouring rain and so cold we could even see our breaths. What month is it again?
I'm NOT scared!
Waiting in line and attempting to get a "good" picture of ourselves. Hmmm... Didn't work so well.
