Summer's finally here! Naturally, we're now complaining of the heat, but it has been nice to get to do some summery things like swimming, gardening, eating popsicles, and such. Ella's getting her summer glow and streaked hair that will fade and darken all fall and winter. It's awesome to see the season's reflect in and through her. She is such a hoot! There's never a dull moment around our house during her waking hours. Just yesterday she created a living planet aquarium and was selling us tickets for $.01 each. Where does she get all her ideas and energy? She's always got some project on the to do list and it just cracks us up because it's always something new and unexpected. You'd think we'd be used to it by now!
Anyway, we haven't taken many pics as of late so here are a few that are overdue:

She even spent her own money to ride on the train which for Ella is a really big deal. She's been saving her money for over 8 months now and with the exception of her train ride and paying tithing and fast offerings, she hasn't spent a penny. She's an inspiration to us all!
