I'm still sticking with my vote, but I also really liked The Hurt Locker so I'm satified that it won too. Kinda ticked about Sandra Bullock winning for best actress--I don't think she deserved it. Meryl Streep (from Julie & Julia) or Gabourey Sidibe (from Precious) gave much stronger performances. Oh well.
BTW: Oscar Party Menu 2010 was fab! We had roasted garlic, garlic bread, killer alfredo and a meaty red sauce over bell-shaped pasta, salad with roasted red peppers and asparagus, and creme brulee. Everything was so yummy. Success!

Just found your blog, and I have to say I am beyond entertained!!!!! I miss you guys so much and am astounded at how much of a little lady Ella is. I have some very clear memories of Dan and Ella in figure drawing class when she was a lot more portable (and infant-like).
Just wanted you to know I agree about the Avatar bit. Such an irritating movie.
