Happy Day

Yesterday was a oh, so happy day! Sarah & Jacob were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple and we got to be there to witness & celebrate with them.
We feel especially grateful because we've been able to get to know Sarah & Jacob for the fun, cool people and couple they are. At least once a month, many times much more, we get together for dinner, FHE and/or movie nights. They're really good sports to always come over to our house so Ella can sleep while we play--they're too kind, but we love it! And we promise to pay them back with loads of babysitting. :)
The longer I live, the more I am convinced that quality comes from quantity--an investment of time in relationships produces the beautiful, binding moments we long to have with our families and friends. I'm really grateful that Sarah & Jacob have allowed us to spend so much time with them and have so often make the effort to make this happen. Each time I feel like I get to know them a bit more and am inspired to do & be better.
Of course the downside is that intermixed with the beautiful, they get to see our crazy bits too. And that's pretty embarrassing sometimes. But thanks be to God for our wonderful families!
