Past Due

For Ella's 7th birthday she chose to have a Luau. We limited the guests this year so it wasn't as crazy as last year--a much appreciated gift to Mom & Dad.

It is strange though... Where did the days of simple birthday parties go? You know, when it was just cake, presents and playing? Now it's all about the theme and making everything BIGGER and BETTER. It's kind of exhausting. So although we had the luau Ella begged for, we tried to keep it sweet, simple and on a budget. I think it worked out pretty well.
