Ten days into January 2010 now... I think we're all glad to be back on our routine again.
Dan is currently working on a very large painting. He still has many hours to put in before it's completed but here's a preview of the upper right side of the painting. We definitely need to throw a party when it's finished. It's been quite the project but I love walking into our office and seeing him paint. It's a happy sight!

I got this funky rash on my neck last Friday. This pic was taken post-Hydrocortisone cream so it doesn't show how red it really was. I've never had an allergic reaction before. Weird... I'm still not sure what caused it.

Ella tried to sneak Scarlett to school by cramming her into her back pack. Poor Scarlett. She's such a sweet dog but she definitely earns her keep by putting up with us.

I need to learn how to use a curling iron so I can curl Kasia's hair someday.
that's the beauty of tie curls--no ironing necessary. :)
