At Thanksgiving Point with Ryan. Ella adores him.
Ryan is one of Christy's students from Timpview back in the day: the year 2000 (a little tribute to Flight of the Conchords there...).
Since that time, Ryan has definitely become one of the family. He never ceases to make us laugh.
The reindeer were super cool!
We love Ryan's family too: Brian, Dawn, Elisa and Tamera. They are AWESOME! But we stole Ryan for the day and took him out on the town.
Christmas Treats for Friends & Neighbors
This year I tried my hand at making caramel. It was a lot of fun. Some batches turned out better than others. My favorite was the caramels with toasted pecans.
Ella is a funny bird. She been saving her money for months and then decided to spend some of it on this bear despite her many stuffed animals. We tried to convince her to either keep saving her money or wait until she found something she REALLY wanted. But after a week of waiting, she was convinced her life wouldn't be complete without her bear which she named Janie. We put our reservations aside, and gave in. It's her money after all. But you can see how delighted she is to finally have her Christmas Bear.
