Last Friday we welcomed Christopher Matthias into our family. You know how sometimes when you've been waiting and anticipating something for years and years, and then you FINALLY get it, you can experience some let down? Well, having Christopher join us has produced absolutely nothing of the kind. I am enjoying every single second of it. Yes, even the exhaustion. The whole experience feels like an amazing and undeserved gift, and I am filled with gratitude, wonder and love. It makes me feel so hopeful about the blessings the Lord has in store for me and my family. In short, life is grand! And the Lord is good and His blessings bountiful!
