NTR

I feel bad... My goal has been to blog every week while Mom & Dad are in England, but I really have nothing to report. Sure, there are things I could go on a tirade about, but what's the point? That's what my journal is for. ;) Ella is going to have the time of her life, hee hee, making her way through my journals when I'm gone--what with an entry everyday! Yikes! I don't envy that job.

So what's going on lately? Just regular life, thank goodness. It's nice to be still for a moment before a new wind blows in. Some of the things that fill my daily life include:

• reading The Midwife's Apprentice & The Book of Mormon with Ella
• watching Chopped or Modern Family with Dan when I need to veg out
• choosing paint colors for our house
• praying for a dear friend who just started chemo for breast cancer
• cooking dinner every night (I'm really working on that one after getting out of the habit)
• creating a new Shutterfly book for Ella
• striving to become a better Christian through repentance and developing Christlike attributes
• increasing my faith in Christ
• working at being a better mother to Ella by using the time I have with her intentionally
